Burn-XT is a five-ingredient thermogenic capsule built around acetyl-L-carnitine, green tea and caffeine. PrimeShred is our preferred choice for a training-focused cut when a broader formula with theanine, tyrosine and rhodiola is the priority. Both disclose their active quantities, so the decision deserves more than a claim that one label is transparent.

PrimeShred is our pick for the broader training-day formula.
We favour its combination of 250 mg theanine, 300 mg tyrosine and 250 mg rhodiola alongside the botanical ingredients. Its declared caffeine anhydrous is 225 mg per daily serving, compared with 270 mg in Burn-XT’s two-capsule serving. Burn-XT has the advantage if you specifically want acetyl-L-carnitine in a shorter formula.
See PrimeShred ingredients and optionsStart with the serving you are comparing
The Burn-XT panel prints both one-capsule and two-capsule quantities. The full two-capsule column contains 700 mg acetyl-L-carnitine HCl, 450 mg green tea and 270 mg caffeine. Comparing its one-capsule caffeine number with PrimeShred’s complete three-capsule daily serving would give a misleading impression.
Our table uses Burn-XT’s two-capsule column and PrimeShred’s labelled daily serving. If a buyer uses a different permitted intake, the quantities and the days per bottle must be recalculated together. This review concerns standard Burn-XT, not another Jacked Factory product.

“Not included” means absent from the assessed ingredient inventory. An undisclosed or unverified amount does not mean an ingredient is absent.
PrimeShred: All 12 label entries are shown individually. The caffeine figure is the declared anhydrous amount; total intake also depends on other caffeine sources.
Burn-XT: The panel also gives a one-capsule serving: half every amount shown here. Extract specifications differ from PrimeShred; milligrams alone do not establish relative strength.
PrimeShred: Hypromellose capsule, silica and magnesium stearate.

The extract comparison needs a closer look
PrimeShred contains 500 mg green tea standardised to 50% polyphenols. Burn-XT contains 450 mg with a higher stated polyphenol specification, and also declares catechins and EGCG. We would not call PrimeShred’s green tea stronger merely because 500 is a larger number than 450.
The same care applies to cayenne. PrimeShred uses a 10:1 fruit extract; Burn-XT uses the branded Capsimax ingredient. An extraction ratio and a branded specification describe different things. Without matching the relevant active compounds, dividing one extract weight by another does not produce a meaningful potency score.
These details do not change our preference for PrimeShred’s wider combination. They explain what that preference actually rests on: the combination of ingredients and its fit with a daily routine.
Why we favour the wider PrimeShred formula
A cut can mean early training sessions, a controlled food intake and a long working day. We prefer a formula that combines the declared caffeine with theanine, tyrosine and rhodiola, rather than concentrating the purchase on carnitine and thermogenic extracts. PrimeShred makes those individual amounts visible.
The short other-ingredient list is another feature we like, although it is shared here: both assessed products use a hypromellose capsule, silica and magnesium stearate. Both therefore suit buyers who prefer a short capsule-ingredient list.
This is a recommendation about composition and fit. It does not mean theanine cancels caffeine side effects or that every ingredient has proved an independent fat-loss benefit.
What can a capsule contribute to a cut?
Weight-loss findings from carnitine research are not automatically results for Burn-XT’s acetyl-L-carnitine form or dose. [1] Equally, green-tea research does not justify promising dramatic weight loss from PrimeShred; a Cochrane review found effects too small to be clinically important in the studies it assessed. [2]
The useful reason to select PrimeShred is that you prefer its particular daily formula and can fit it around the rest of your routine. Muscle retention depends far more directly on adequate food planning, resistance training and recovery. A trial involving a calorie deficit and intense exercise illustrates why protein intake deserves that attention. [3]
Who might reasonably choose Burn-XT?
Someone specifically seeking acetyl-L-carnitine HCl and a shorter ingredient list may prefer Burn-XT. Its individual quantities are readable, and the two-column label is useful once serving sizes are kept consistent.
We favour PrimeShred for the buyer who wants its broader amino-acid and botanical selection, with a lower declared caffeine amount than Burn-XT’s two-capsule serving. Neither should be combined casually with another fat burner or a stimulant-heavy pre-workout. A stronger sensation is not a reliable measure of better fat loss.
Our final choice
Choose PrimeShred if you want our preferred broader capsule formula alongside a structured cut. Its appeal is the disclosed combination of caffeine, theanine, tyrosine, rhodiola and botanical extracts. Choose by the routine and ingredients you value; neither a higher caffeine number nor a longer label is a clinical result.
